About Media 15

Media15 is a London based media sales agency, in business since November 2010. We provide national advertising sales for the ever-increasing number of small-to-medium sized commercial TV stations broadcasting in the UK on Sky, Freeview, Freesat, Virgin Media & IPTV.

Media15 sells commercial airtime, sponsorship, teleshopping and other related commercial opportunities to media buying agencies on behalf of their clients, allowing the channels’ station management to focus more fully on their programming operations.

The advertising market is always interested to learn about specialist or niche channels. We provide first class face to face representation to the UK TV market fully monetising an independent channel’s usually very loyal audience.

We have an established trading position in the UK TV market with a high degree of agency contact at all levels.

As well as national advertising sales for existing tv stations, Media15 provides consultancy to brand new tv channels, offering its experience in various aspects of the start up process from operational knowledge through to revenue forecasting and market research.

Having worked on the launch of many TV channels over the years, the Directors at Media15 fully appreciate the need for a solid understanding of such an important revenue stream as advertising.

We offer a very grounded knowledge of a channel’s revenue potential over its time as a new entrant and beyond in a highly competitive market.

  • Dominic Matterson
    Dominic Matterson Managing Director

    Dom has worked for 20 years in Multi Channel Television – in sales, marketing, management and other areas of commercial development. He started his career in the National Press before moving into Television in the mid 90s.

    At ITV he was part of the team that developed the Granada Sky Broadcasting stable of satellite channels including Granada Plus (now ITV3) and Men & Motors (ITV4).

    He continued to specialise in the launch, sales and development of a number independent Satellite TV channels before setting up Media15 in 2010.

  • Mike Gull
    Mike Gull Sales & Marketing Director

    Mike has over 30 years experience in Media working both for Advertisers and Media Owners.
    He has held marketing roles at Quaker and a number of other blue chip marketing companies.

    In television he has held Sales & Marketing, New Business and Client Service Director positions at London Weekend Television and GMTV in the UK and BNT in Bulgaria.

    Mike pioneered Out of Home Digital Media as Sales Director of FTV and has led sales teams for a number of domestic channel launches.
